THIS IS AN ARCHIVE POST FROM 2016
Between March 18 and 20 2016 we took part in Berliner Fahrradschau in Berlin with PaperSpokes. It was one of the main events of Berlin Bicycle Week, and most of the big cycling brands were represented there.
We had applied for the exhibition back in October last year and rented a shared stand together with two other brands: Blindchic and Nebouxsii.
Our goal was to showcase our products and find retailers. Since our crowdfunding campaign was still running and we didn’t have enough products available for sale yet, selling anything at the exhibition wasn’t really an option. We brought six crates with us, took three back home, and left three other pieces behind as samples with potential retailers.
Of course we left everything until the very last minute, so our promotional materials were only finished a few hours before we left on Thursday. And we didn’t even know until we arrived whether we would actually get the bicycle we had requested from another exhibitor weeks earlier. Luckily we did because we needed it to display our products properly.
The exhibition itself was extremely well organized, with lots of fantastic programs for visitors and a huge number of people attending.
Over the three days we handed out 600 introductory booklets, spoke to at least 700 interested visitors in person, and received lots of useful feedback.
Definitely was worth going! 🙂
