THIS IS AN ARCHIVE POST FROM 2017.
Earlier this year, I designed a collection of sheer tights for Virivee with colourful geometric patterns (I wrote about it here), and it turned out to be such a success that I wanted to take these sheer tights in a more sensual direction. This time, I wanted to create a collection of floral wedding tights, something delicate and a little romantic.
The two main flowers I used were frangipani and cherry blossom. They are quite different from each other. Frangipani is bold and striking, with flowers that really stand out, while cherry blossom has a much more subtle beauty. It almost blends into the background, but that’s exactly what makes it so beautiful.
As you might expect by now, the collection features my signature asymmetrical designs. The only symmetrical patterns are the ones placed along the back seam of the tights.
I was so happy with the results of my previous photoshoot that I asked Edina Csoboth to photograph this campaign again, with Lilla Feher as stylist. And once again, they didn’t disappoint!
I only stopped by briefly during the last photoshoot, but this time I really wanted to be there, so I brought my six-month-old daughter along with me. She ended up being everyone’s favourite person on set. 😀
Edina’s behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot eventually appeared in a separate post on the Hungarian edition of ELLE magazine’s website. My daughter will be able to proudly tell everyone in 15 years that she was already featured on ELLE when she was just six months old! 😀
Here are some more tights from the collection:
