THIS IS AN ARCHIVE POST FROM 2017.
I really wanted to design a more special collection of tights for Virivee, something you don’t really see on the market.
I decided to work with thin, sheer tights and decorate them with small, colourful geometric shapes. The idea was to make the shapes look as if they had been stuck directly onto the legs. I wanted to keep the designs minimal and stay away from the usual patterns and placements you see on classic tights.
I think it worked out pretty well! ☺️
The collection includes lots of different designs, using dots, squares and other geometric shapes in different colours and arrangements. Each pair has its own look, and I’m really proud of how the whole collection turned out.
The beautiful campaign photos are the work of photographer Edina Csoboth and stylist Lilla Feher. I had already worked with Edina before. She was the photographer behind my very first Virivee tights collection, the one I raised money for through my Kickstarter campaign. So it was really nice to work with her again on this new project.
I’m very happy with the result. The new Virivee sheer collection has many more designs than the ones you can see in these photos, and I think every single one of them is special. It’s always exciting to see my ideas come to life, especially when the final result is something a little different from what you usually find in tights.
I hope you’ll love them as much as I do! ☺️
Oh, and here is a behind the scenes photo of the campaign shooting:
